All have heard about home owners insurance.  It is an insurance policy that is there to protect you against unforeseen circumstances.  What happens to the content of your home when something happens to your home?  Suppose that a hurricane comes through your area and damage your roof.  If you have the right policy, cover damage and help to replace the roof but what to do about elements within suffered substantial water damage?
This is where the House and secure content comes into play.  It is a type of insurance that covers not only your home but the content that is inside also.  There may be some riders placed on policy that puts stipulations on what qualifies as a valid claim.  An example of this may be that if you have fruit trees and their furniture was damaged a rat of the fruit, not covered.
Or maybe you live in a flood prone area when it rains and will end with water to some of their furniture damage after a storm only to discover you don't have insurance to cover this event in particular.
It is important to know your policy within and outside so you know exactly what is and what is not covered.  You don't want to be under the assumption that if you damage by flood, personal belongings are insured when in reality they are not.  Then at the end are no personal effects and without money to replace the elements.  It is important to be on policy and what they want covered completely with the insurance agent by so you can be sure that in case of an emergency, you, your home and personal belongings are safe.
